Event Details

With this week’s Festival focus on gardening, it’s worth noting the importance of soil. Take a closer look at Lothian’s Honey’s Harvest Farm and their Living Soil.

It’s amazing and important to realize that an entire eco-system exists in the soil and that, when alive and balanced, produces abundant, nutrient dense food and medicine in a cost effective, sustainable manner.

Regenerative Agriculture is a solution to a healthier, happy, and satiated world. And it begins with soil. Good, healthy vibrant soil allows for the growth of good, healthy food and a stronger planet and that leads to good, healthy, vibrant people. Learn more about the power of Regenerative Agriculture, considered by many to be the answer to reversing climate change. Watch Small Scale Farmers Cool the Planet - they say the premise is basic 5th grade science class. What do you think?

Honey’s Harvest Farm's purpose is to help create a healthier world by empowering people to feel good through fun and relevant farm experiences and healthy food and herbal farm products.

If this is of interest to you and you have experience, Honey’s Harvest Farm is hiring! They are looking for a Regenerative Agriculture Farm Assistant to assist the owner/operator in all aspects of farm work, management, and farm product sales. Applicant must have a minimum of 3 years experience in permaculture and/or regenerative agriculture.
