Around our local areas there are so many spots where trash collects and where storm drains are full of trash or debris. As organic debris washes into the waterways it causes algae growth and reduces habitat for wildlife.

THE CLEANUP CREW
Join the CREW any Saturday to pick up litter around Severna Park. Location changes according to where there’s the greatest need. Bring gloves and paper bags, a reacher/grabber if you have one. Please check their link for location and any last minute changes.

Friends of Anne Arundel Trails can use people to help tend or adopt gardens along the B&A trail.
MAGOTHY RIVER ASSOC
The Magothy River Association has many volunteer opportunities for people of any age, interest and skill level. Here are two you might be able to help with:
SAVE OUR TREES
Help remove the English ivy and invasive vines that are destroying our canopy trees and forests in Annapolis and Anne Arundel County. Important because English ivy steals a tree’s water and nutrients, rots their bark and can block their sunlight.
SEVERN RIVER ASSOC
Second Saturdays with Severn River Association: activities include invasive species removals, trash pickups, or native plantings to benefit the Severn River watershed.
