Life feels especially crazy right now, and to fight feeling overwhelmed I  look for positivity.

This week I found it in noticing how many people volunteer. And those who volunteer usually serve more than one place.

Is volunteering like potato chips? Can’t eat just one? Or like tattoos – haven’t found anyone with one that isn’t planning their next one.

Just this week I’ve heard about people supporting or volunteering at:

Anne Arundel County Watershed Stewards Academy | Restoring Local Waterways Who we Are

Cycling Without Age – Bicycle Advocates For Annapolis And Anne Arundel County

HNP – Homegrown National Park – Regenerate Biodiversity

Formerly Project School Supplies | Buenos Vecinos Central America

Kid Changemakers – Youth community service

Open Hands of MD

Please don’t succumb to the feeling of overwhelm. The antidote to overwhelm is finding a meaningful way to help the community. Now is the time to be even more generous with our effort. If you need some inspiration or help finding a volunteer opportunity, just reach out. Contact@goodneighborsgroup.org
