We are thrilled to announce that $300 of GNG support has helped Brian secure a beautiful space for the Resource Center including the first three months of rent!
It’s more than just four walls—it’s a foundation for impact, a place where ideas will grow, and where lives will be changed. The initial support gives Brian time to focus on set up and bring his vision to life.
🪑 First Desk & Chair Have Arrived! 🖥️
The vision is coming to life! We now have our first desk and chair, with 2 more on the way. It may seem small, but it’s a big step toward building a fully functional, welcoming space for job and soft skills training, computer skills acquisition, and group collaboration.
None of this would be possible without you. Thank you for believing in this mission! We can’t wait to share more updates as we continue to grow and get our first student.
His passion for helping his community led to development of Good Neighbors Group – Nairobi. Twice per year GNG ships school supplies, art supplies, children’s and adult clothes and shoes, items for babies and more from Maryland to Kenya.

A few months after GNG hired Brian Githehu and added his location in Kenya on the website, we received a Facebook message from Moses, a teacher in a “slum” outside Nairobi. He asked for any help we could provide for his family.
