When we consider the issues facing our planet, it’s easy to get overwhelmed and give up before getting started or think your actions don’t matter. Instead, it’s crucial to remember every little bit counts and if everyone is at least doing something, the impact can be extraordinary!
That’s the story LRS Federal shares. LRS Federal is a service-disabled veteran-owned small business completing architecture, engineering, construction management, and environmental remediation projects for clients such as the Department of Defense, National Parks Service, Environmental Protection Agency, and other local and national projects in both the public and private sector.

There’s an extensive network of trails throughout our area that allows us many opportunities to explore and enjoy. Thanks to the Friends of Anne Arundel County Trails, these many walking and biking trails are available to us! The Mission of the Friends of Anne Arundel County Trails is to promote, protect and enhance the public multi-use trails within Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
The next time you are out on one of the area trails, take a closer look. Notice the flowers, gardens, benches and signage adorning the area, making it that much more inviting and safe. That’s all the work of the Friends of the AA Co. Trails!
Friends of the Trails invites you to become a member and/or participate in all that’s happening to expand and improve the area trails. Reach out to Friends of the Trails if you’d like to help maintain an area of the trails you enjoy. Good Neighbors Group has adopted the garden at Pluto Station. Stop by any time to check out the native plantings!
