DESCRIPTION:This event\, beginning the Thursday before the Super Bowl and culminating on Super Bowl Sunday\, is a fun competition between local neighborhoods to collect as much food as they can to restock local pantries at a time when shelves are bare.  Each participating neighborhood needs a Captain who can publicize the event and establish a neighborhood collection spot.  Items must be counted and delivered to the designated food pantry on Super Bowl Sunday. Winners are announced the following week in conjunction with Cafe Mezzanotte’s Community Partnership night where a portion of proceeds from all sales benefits GNG.  Make sure your neighborhood is represented! \nHere’s how to get involved

SUMMARY:Blended Essentials Gift Bags for Moms Assembly Party
DESCRIPTION:The Blended Essentials needs YOUR support to assemble gift bags for our fellow community members that are struggling this holiday season. \nWe are going to put together pamper packages for 175 Moms this holiday season.  We will include BE soaps\, hand sanitizer and shower blasts. \nJoin us for an assembling party\nSunday\, December 12th from 8:00-9:30 am.   \nAny extra treats would be great to add to the bags\, such as; \nSocks\nGloves or Hats\nCandy or Cookies\nTea or Hot Chocolate\nNail Files\nBE creative \nIf you are unable to make it on Sunday\, yet would like to contribute to the gift bags\, please drop off donations by 6 PM Saturday.  No need to try to get 175 items…choose to donate 5+ items.  Unique bags will be created for each Mom. \nWe will be donating the gift bags to Severing People Across Neighborhoods (SPAN) who will add to their food donations this holiday season.
