Join Greta for Climate Change Fridays!

Teen climate change advocate Greta Thunberg has moved her Fridays for Future campaign online.  Fridays will feature lots of info on climate change with panel discussions and updates on the health of the planet. https://www.designboom.com/technology/greta-thunberg-friday-protests-talks-for-future-fridays-03-31-2020/ Discussion points – In addition to discussing environmental matters, this a great opportunity to talk about how we have to adjust, change plans, cope, get creative and move forward. Once upon a time, a teacher talked with her class and said, “Sometimes it seems like there is only bad news.  Can you come up with some good news?”  In response, one of her 8 year-old students, Caitlin, created a picture with her answer, “I got a new bike.  And I am having macaroni tonight.”  More than ever, it’s time to take a moment to celebrate even the smallest, bright things!  How would your student answer this question?  And what about you?
